Haters

Did you know that there are a LOT of haters?

Sometimes I wonder if haters know that they are haters.

Sometimes I wonder if these people who are so cruel and judgmental and awful actually think that they are helpful, or that they have the right to talk to people the way they do.

I am always a bit flabbergasted when people say things to other people and they hide behind the cop-out of, "Well, I'm just being honest."

Allow me to remind you what I remember most from first grade.

Miss Belnap taught us the Golden Rule every single morning.

Right after the Pledge of Allegiance, we would repeat the Golden Rule.

And then she would teach us about the importance of both.

Every single day.

If you don't have something nice to say, shut your effing mouth.

If you don't like the way I look, or the business I run, or the way I talk, or the way I breathe... 

Unfriend me. Unfollow me. Don't look at me.

You, my friends who aren't really friends, don't have the ability to lower my value or my worth with your spew of hatred.

That's already in stone.
